This fryer is perfect for me. It heats up fast and has precise temperature control. It is perfect for single or couple usage. It does not require a lot of oil which is a big plus. Overall, I am very happy with the Fryer.
Worked fine...for a while

This fryer had everything I wanted: a nice basket you could let drain easily before removing the hot food, reasonable balance of capacity vs. oil usage, and the thermostat/timer combination proved quite versatile. And it worked acceptably for about six months. At first the main problem was the two-piece handle kept slipping apart, which got me burnt more than once. And then one day it just stopped working altogether. I believe may have been due to a problem with the odd power connector on the unit, which was troublesome from day one. You'll find multiple reports of the same issues on the very similar Euro-Pro F1042 Compact 2-Cup Stainless-Steel Deep Fryer and the Deni 9301 Mini 840-Watt 1-1/4-Quart Stainless-Steel Deep Fryer, both of which share several parts (including the power connector) with this model.
Euro Pro, not worth the money.

I bought this fryer a couple of months ago, and since then I used it maybe 3 or 4 times max. Last night I heated it up, and it goes off when the timer goes off; well it heated up and then the light turned off and when I tried to turn it back on so I could cook my food it wouldn't come back on. It pretty much died on me, and it was not even hot enough to cook my food. Light would not come on, I checked the cord which is removable, I checked my outlet, checked the timer and the temperature setting. NOTHING HAPPENED. I even tried completely unplugging it and letting it cool down, let it sit, tried again after it was cool, NOTHING.
For 40.00 I do not expect an appliance to stop working after only 3 uses, this product turned out to be a piece of crap. I could have bought one for 20.00 less and it would have worked better. My advice: DON'T BUY EURO PRO. |
quit working too

I had mine for more than a few months, it was great. Then poof right in the middle of frying up some tortilla chips, soggy happened. Loved things about it but it didn't hold up as well as my mom's old fry daddy I grew up using, think I'll go back to an old faithful brand. was just trying something new, learned my lesson.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$$

This product was the worst! I bought the first one at Walmart for around 30 ish dollars. After literally having it for a month and using it maybe 3-4 times, it just quit working! I took it back to exchange it and again,it worked fine at first, then after maybe lasting 10 uses same thing.....the timer worked but it didn't heat up! I think maybe now after reading these reviews that the company should recall them, it seems they must have faulty or defective heating elements. Don't buy this product, its not worth the headache! Who knows...it could be electrical....fire hazard!
Would be perfect...if it worked

Same ordeal as in the other reviews, had it for two months and then one day after it got up to heat, nothing. Wasted a whole serving of shrimp. No wonder this item was on sale. This would be the absolute best fryer on the market for making single serve meals, if it only worked.
